The Sport-Tribe team is very pleased to support our friend Ed in his effort to raise money for the British Red Cross / Haiti Appeal!

Ed is racing the London Triathlon 2010 this summer.

A few people already asked us why Sport-Tribe allows everybody to add and update clubs and events in our database.

The answer lies in the fact that we want to display the most accurate information to our visitors: no one in the world holds all the information about all the clubs and sporting events in the world: well, we don’t either, but this global knowledge exists and is shared between everybody here, clubs owners, managers, presidents, fans etc.

When we decided to let everyone add and update the database (you don’t even need to sign up to do so) it is to allow everyone to share their knowledge, and build up a higher level of information and accuracy so that Sport-Tribe becomes a unique and very useful tool for everyone.

For obvious reasons of security and to avoid mistakes, Sport-Tribe moderators always checks new additions and updates to validate their authenticity.

Finally, to avoid un-wanted modification of their information details, we allow clubs and events owners to protect their Sport-Tribe pages. The procedure is super simple, just click on “I am the owner of this club” of your pages to read more about it.

Speak soon,

The Sport-Tribe team
